Whether you're looking for an introduction to stage combat or the chance to advance your craft, we're excited for you to join us. We are incredibly excited to bring this regional workshop to SE Michigan in the beautiful town of Ypsilanti (pronounced '“ip-suh-lan-tee”) with a phenomenal staff of instructors and teachers.

Mitten Mayhem offers two tracks:

  • Introductory Track: All-day foundational training for beginning fighters. Excellent for students who are brand new to stage combat or have only done a little in theatrical productions. Students learn fundamental techniques through a sampling of eight basic "fight" disciplines recognized by the SAFD.

  • General Track: Where participants will choose from a variety of class options
